Dear All,

We are happy to inform you that the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) has given its approval for the revised 'Course on Computer Education for Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) scheme guidelines. Under this new guidelines, 50,000 VLEs will be trained across the country within March 2014 and they don't have to pay any fee to appear in the examination.

Benefits to the VLEs

1. NIELIT CCC Examination Fee of Rs. 360/- waiver for all the VLEs

2. Eligible to participate in the IT Mass Literacy programme to be launched by DeitY

3. Eligible to participate in the digital literacy projects being implemented by CSC SPV

4. Eligible to apply for the NIELIT’s Accreditation Centre

5. Increased capacity to offer digital literacy programmes

Application Procedure

1. Visit the URL: http://education.csc.gov.in

2. Click on the Apply Now button and you will be redirected to enter through CSC Connect

3. Click on the CSC Connect button

4. VLEs to login through his/her OMT ID and password (If the VLE has forgotten the ID/ Password, they can get in touch with the below mentioned contacts)

5. Fill the application form with all mandatory details

6. On successful submission of the form, the details will be forwarded to NIELIT for scheduling the examination

7. VLEs can study the CCC Course Online from here: http://www.nielit.in/elearning.aspx (CCC Course is available in 25 Languages)

8. NIELIT will upload the Admit Card on their website

9. VLEs to visit the assigned Examination Centre to appear for the examination

The Last Date has been extended to 18 September, 2013 for the First Batch of Application.
