Maritime University CET 2014 Online application

Chennai based Indian Maritime University is switching over to Computer-based Common Entrance Test (CET) from 2014 onwards.  It will conduct the Computer-based CETs 2014 on Saturday, 14th June 2014 afternoon, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. in a single shift across 34 cities viz. New Delhi, Patna, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Cochin, Jaipur, Dehradun, Chennai, Kolkata, Ranchi, Visakhapatnam, Pune, Kota, Bhopal, Meerut, Trivandrum, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore, Nagpur, Guwahati, Siliguri, Port Blair, Hubli, Jodpur, Jabalpur, Raipur, Agra, Allahabad, Shimla and Srinagar.
Admissions to the various UG and PG courses taught in 7 Campuses of the Indian Maritime University, Chennai and its 36 Affiliated Institutions are made through Common Entrance Tests (CETs) conducted every year. 
The IMU, Chennai has selected Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., as the Service Provider who will provide End-to-End services for the conduct of the Computer-based CETs 2014, except for the setting up of Question Papers which will be done by the University itself.
There will be one common CET for all the UG Courses viz. 
B.Tech (Marine Engineering), 
B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering), 
B.Sc (Ship Building & Repair), B.Sc (Maritime Science), 
B.Sc (Nautical Science), Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) leading to B.Sc (Nautical Science).
Last date for Online Registration 20th May Date of Computer-Based CETs 14th June 2014, 2pm – 5pm
Date of Publication of Results 18th June
Date(s) of Counselling for all UG & PG Programmes 14,15,16,17 & 18th July
(These are tentative dates and are liable for modification).
Date of Commencement of Programmes 11th August 2014
