The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for entry into
one of the 17 national law universities for the academic session 2016-17
will be held on May 8, 2016. A notification in this regard was issued
by the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Patiala, the
organising university for the exam. The online application submission
process starts on January 1, 2016.
CLAT is conducted for admitting successful
candidates to the five-year integrated Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of
Law (BA plus LLB) Honors and one year Master of Law (LL.M) programme.
The online application fee for the test is Rs 4,000 for
General, OBC and Specially-abled Persons (SAP) candidates, and Rs 3,500
for SC and ST candidates. The last date for submission of duly filled online application form is March 31, 2016.
